Third graders have begun making sets for their Greek myth plays. After looking at artists who use found objects and photography such as Walter Wick (of the I Spy book series) and Andy Goldsworthy the girls collected objects from outside, home, and the studio. They are working in small groups to identify the important elements and build a monochromatic scene. Ask your third grader about her designated role in the group. The girls will work with lighting and iPad photography to document their constructions, which will be projected during the plays.
